​Laura Kennedy is a CIHR Health Systems Impact Postdoctoral Fellow at the STIC Lab and IWK. She is supervised by Dr. Christine Cassidy and will explore the co-design of a health equity lens for an implementation science framework. Laura completed her PhD at Dalhousie University in 2024 in the Food Policy Lab. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University and Master of Public Health from Memorial University. Laura also has over ten years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute medicine and mental health promotion. Her research program uses policy research methods to explore health promotion within healthcare settings. Laura lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She enjoys hiking with her dog, Molly, trying new coffee spots and skating at the oval.
