Isabel graduated from Mount Allison University with an honours in biology and minors in biochemistry and health studies (2026). This summer, Isabel is working as a research assistant in a joint project between the STIC lab, Maritime Child Health (MCH), and Dr. Shannon MacPhee (Medical Director of Patient Safety, IWK Health) that focuses on improving equity and quality of care through communication on the pediatric medical unit. Isabel is passionate about improving the care experience for patients and their families, and she is excited to continue to grow her health research experience with the STIC lab and MCH. ​​
