Grace graduated from Dalhousie University with a BSc in Health Promotion (2025). She first joined the STIC Lab as a summer student with Dr. Christine Cassidy. She has since worked as a Research Assistant on projects related to the transition from pediatric to adult care, integrated knowledge transition, and clinical decision-making. Grace completed a Mitacs Accelerate Internship with Maritime Child Health, IWK Health’s pediatric learning health system (LHS). She led a study to understand patients’ and caregivers’ needs, values, and perspectives related to engagement in a health-equity focused pediatric LHS. Currently, in addition to supporting the STIC Lab program of research, Grace is a Research Assistant with Maritime Child Health and with Dr. Shannon MacPhee (Medical Director of Patient Safety, IWK Health). In her free time, Grace enjoys baking and cooking, listening to podcasts, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
