​Gianisa is a CIHR Health System Impact Fellow in Canada, specializing in embedded research that develops an equity-focused quality improvement evaluation framework in Nova Scotia. An international medical graduate, she earned a PhD in Health from Dalhousie University and holds a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management. Her wider research program focuses on health equity, quality improvement, and expanding healthcare access for underserved populations. In her spare time, Gianisa enjoys baking and glass painting with her children.
