Ahmed recently completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Sciences (2026) at Dalhousie University and is continuing his studies there as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) student. Prior to joining the STIC Lab, he contributed to a variety of research projects, including a scoping review at the Multidisciplinary Black Research and Advocacy Centre (MBRACe). For his honours thesis, he led a mixed-methods study examining acute presentations of severe aortic stenosis among inpatient and outpatient populations at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. In the STIC Lab, Ahmed primarily works on the ED-PATCH project and contributes to several ongoing evidence synthesis and review projects​​
